Founded by Master Builder, Alexander Illes who has over 45 years experience in the industry, A & DR Illes (Sydney) Pty Ltd is a traditional building company, meaning we have old fashioned values and we care about what we do.
With impeccable standards from the starting point, our core values were developed through our humble small business approach and every project no matter how big or small, is completed to the highest standard of craftsmanship and finishes. We pride ourselves on our highly skilled dynamic team capable of delivering across a diverse range of projects and budgets. The residential component of our company encompasses a complete range of trades and services, and we are experienced in all kinds of building techniques and styles. As a result, we have had the privilege to develop, restore and build some of Sydney’s most magnificent homes.

Detailed carving and restoration work is often carried out in-situ, which requires a consistent degree of empathy to match the work of the original craftsman. With the support of a project manager who takes care of administration and scheduling, all of A & DR Illes (Sydney) Pty Ltd our projects are supervised by an exacting and experienced Project Foreman. Our Project Foreman take a hands on approach to all builds and who is responsible for the build from the very beginning right through to handover.

All projects undertaken by A & DR Illes (Sydney) Pty Ltd are conducted under the direct control of our company Director, Alex Illes, who closely manages every facet of our business, including estimating and tendering, contract administration, project management, site supervision, financial and accounts control. Alex also visits site most days, and will attend every site meeting, and be actively involved in every project.
